Staff alignment matters in a CAS practice.
Client Advisory Services is one of the fastest growing practice areas in the accounting profession, and rapidly growing CAS practices need to get staff onboarded and trained quickly. CPA.com has trained thousands of CAS leaders, and is now offering this workshop just for staff new to the CAS practice. During the three-hour workshop, they will explore the key practices and decisions that top performing CAS leaders make, and consider how client advisory services staff will support these decisions, leading to success for staff, clients, and the firm.
Our CPA.com facilitators will walk your team through activities to understand how the CAS services they deliver contribute to the practice success, how technology supports optimization, efficiency, and communication with clients, how to identify scope creep that can impact the pricing techniques that are positioning your practice for revenue growth, and how practice KPIs can be measured by role in weekly and monthly work. Finally, attendees learn to communicate what CAS is – and what it isn't – to your firm staff and to your clients.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:
- Differentiate between CAS and traditional write-up and bookkeeping services that are not CAS.
- Identify needs for dedicated staff, including the potential to use non-traditional talent.
- Understand that technology drives efficiency in a CAS practice.
- Support success by standardizing client services, processes and reports.
- Recognize the potential for scope creep and ways to avoid it.
- Define a strategy to communicate CAS processes and benefits with other staff and clients.
