Client advisory services (CAS) is now the fastest growing area in the profession. The emergence of cloud technologies has fueled CAS success, but to maximize this potential, firms must take an intentional and strategic approach to building and scaling the practice area. CPA.com draws on more than 15 years of CAS experience to deliver expert insights, strategies, and resources to help firms achieve CAS practice success.
Our workshop walks practitioners through CPA.com’s transformative approach to building and scaling CAS. It offers considerations that firms need as they build a roadmap to expand their capabilities and shift toward higher-level advisory services. By taking an intentional approach and building on an aligned, firm-wide strategy and vision, firms will be well positioned for future CAS success.
During each of the four half-day sessions, learners will consider the planning required for eight major practice considerations, and how they will support best practices in their own firm’s CAS practice build or expansion. We’ll explore the CAS 2.0 Essentials Toolkit in hands-on activities that support the practice considerations throughout the workshop. In the final activity, participants will update and assign actionable dates to their own roadmap for execution of the ideas generated throughout the 16 hours spent learning.
